Following my previous question about cannibalizing O'Shea NIB games, I have another question for everyone. We'll begin offering hacks of one or two of the O'Shea games at PC5. Accordingly, we could sell the hacks in the original boxes, just with a sticker on the box noting the "new features." Is this something that people would be willing to pay an extra $3-$4 for? The final price would be $20.00 if we were to take this route. Otherwise, we'll just sell the hack as a loose cart for $16.00. I appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,

PC5???
dude, what system are the hacks for?
If they are for like NES or SNES or something, I would buy 1 in a box, but for a hack, I am not so sure about 20.00. You might want to drop that price bro, I know for a fact that all I would pay for a hack (boxed or no) would be like 10. I am just saying it so that you can actually make some money. And most of the people here are collectors, of course they would want a box.

The hacks that we'll be releasing at PC5 will be for the Atari 2600. The going rate for Atari 2600 hacks is anywhere from $13.00 - $25.00, depending on the game, royalties, manual or no, etc. I just want to get a feel for the market and if it's worth the extra effort to sell the hacks in boxes.
Thanks,
Jarett
