I was just at Gamestop and they for some odd reason has an array of boxed NES games all in mint condition w/ instructins and all...about 20 different games....Tell me if you think I got a good deal on what I bought 8-) :

Dragon Warrior 2: 14.99
Dragon Warrior 3: 12.99
Dragon Warrior 4: 19.99 (opened but still has plastic wrapped around)
Bubble Bobble: 14.99
Bomberman: 7.99
Adventure Island 1: 7.99

all mint cond. boxed and all instructions

Collectively I paid $75.00...Was this a good price for all these games or did I get wripped off on any of them. :hmm:

Not bad. Those DW games are supposed to be fairly rare. 8-)

i'd say a good grab. I would have been all over that. Just looked on ebay and a boxed DW4 was going for something like 73 bucks. Check out some of those other boxed games adn their prices. I also saw a complete bubble bobble sell for 30 + bucks the other day.

DW3 is rarer and a better game then DW2 but it costs less than DW2. Gamestop pricing makes no sense.

Dragon Warrior 2 is the only one I've never been able to find.

Dragon Warrior 1 is common as dirt.

Dragon Warrior 3 is one of those games I've only ever seen one copy of, the one I own.

While Dragon Warrior 4 wasn't exactly common, I used to come across them pretty often. Of course, now the supply seems to have dried up and be under the sole control of the RPG hoarders.

Anyone else find it amusing that GameStop refuses to stock new copies of the Greatest Hits editions of Final Fantasy Anthology, Final Fantasy Chronicles, Xenogears, and Vagrant Story? A few days ago I was in there and they were trying to sell a USED copy of the Greatest Hits edition of Final Fantasy Anthology for $39.99.

You did Excellent! Finding that stuff in the wild sure doesn't come easy.. you should definitly check out the other titles.. better yet.. buy em all, and return em without the boxes and manuals... your average buyer will just toss them out after buying them anyways..

Cheers

DW2, 3 and 4 I'v ehad still since I was a kid. Went through a couple copies of DW1 due to trades. Why's Gamestop refusing to sell the GH versions of those titles?

At my local GameStops, they are removing the shrinkwrap BUT LEAVING THE "SEAL" AT TOP and selling them used for $18 O_O

From what ive heard, GameStop has now left the PSOne market, in terms of new... Whatever new product they still have in store, is pretty much it, and they are only going to buy and sell used PSOne stuff.... The system is on its last legs in regards to new releases, and most all of the production runs have stopped for the games in general, pending the super budget stuff, and the all the kiddie/educational titles that have been trickling out the last few months.... Im not mad that they are stopping, honest.... The 1270+ games is PLENTY to collect....and with the many variants.... there are even more than that. Its had a great run... now its time to hunt for the titles.... (ive only got just more than 800 left to snag myself)
