Since the utter craziness of the Famicom anniversary recently, I've serisously given some thought to naming my first born, Famicom Boy and selling him on the net.
But, Video Fenky (http://www.video-fenky.com/) has some news that the Game Sound Mueseum (Famicom edition) is coming out. Released by an outfit called MegaHouse, this music collection is a series of 8-cm-wide CDs that are packed with a piece of candy and cost a whopping 300 yen each. Here are the games in the 20-piece set:
Balloon Fight
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Jr.
Gyromite/Stack-Up
Ice Climber
Kid Icarus
The Legend of Zelda
Light Gun games (Wild Gunman/Duck Hunt/Hogan's Alley)
Metroid
Nazo no Murasame-jou
Shin Onigashima part 1
Shin Onigashima part 2
Sports Series (Baseball/Tennis/Golf/Ice Hockey)
Super Mario Bros.
Wrecking Crew
The remaining five titles are officially a secret -- you'll have to discover them yourselves when you open up a pack. The series is set to hit stores in late March. Keep in mind that much like trading cards, there's one title per CD, one CD per piece, and you can't tell what CD you're getting on the outside, so the idea here is to trade with your friends to get a full set.
