N64 emulation is just getting better...I assume you can't find any 'cuz it's encrypted and hard to extract. It would be possible to do a GYM style dump, though, and set up a player to play the files. It's just that nobody has taken the time to do it (that I know of).

Sorry dude, none yet. OSTs and game rips only so far. I can head you over to the CV Dungeon's Multimedia Section (www.classicgaming.com/castlevania) if you're looking for music for the two N64 CVs...other than that, wow, there's a ton of good music for the N64 that I don't have.

Good music...not very good MIDI on the 64, though.[/rant]

I did a search some time ago and I found nothing. People is still working with the NES, even SNES music isn't easy to find as NES songs. Maybe in some years...

PS1/2 music...I know of a number of PS1 games that use MIDI; you can extract that using available tools (at least for some games). Some of the PS2 stuff is probably similar to CD-Audio or MP3, so no big challenges there.

found this at n-philes

The N64 was basically RAM+GPU+CPU. Instead of being like a normal console sound setup like this:
Music File > Sound Processor > Speakers,

The N64 was set up to be the following:
Music File > CPU > Speakers

So seeing as every game has it's own audio code that runs on the CPU, if we wanted direct ripped N64 music, there would be over 200+ formats. That's illogical. So in conclusion, there is NO set standard, nor will there be. There's just no way to rip it into a specific format and make a Winamp plugin.

If you have not done so yet, I suggest that you visit http://www.ocremix.org

While that won't have everything you're looking for (and maybe nothing you're looking for, actually, if you're not into their style of remixes - a lot of them are techno-punk), they do have some really awesome stuff. They have a pretty cool remix called "Ocarina Boogie" from Zelda OoT.
