I don't even know if anyone's read it yet, but this is my first article written in three years and I felt a bit rusty doing it. Does anyone have feedback or criticism they'd like to pass along? The only thing I know I'll be doing next one is including some screenshots but otherwise I'd like to hear what you all thought of it.

I enjoyed it, only of course after you told me I had to read it. :P

Seriously, though, it's a good read that actually told me things I was unaware of on CCG games. You may be a bit rusty since you haven't written, but I really didn't think it was apparent. Of course, the artist always notices flaws that the general audience does not.

I liked it. I HUNGER for more.

I'm not really keen on the whole "Card RPG" genre myself, but I think that was excellent. The descriptions for all games explained the rules very well, and I've never even heard of Culdecept until I read this. Hey, I've got lots of time to waste, but I don't know how to use it... perhaps I'll retire to my Game Boy Color and utilize it on Pokemon: TCG. Sounds like a plan? :)

Great job, Adam! I eagerly await the next installment! :D

I finally got a chance to sit down and read it just a few minutes ago (damn college, getting in the way!), and I'd have to say it was pretty damn good. I've played a few video CCGs before (Cardfighters Clash and Pokemon TCG), and I loved 'em, so now thanks to your article, I know what games to lust over until I have enough money to endulge myself. Good article! Kepp 'em coming!

Nice work, Adam!

I am glad to see that you didn't overlook Culdcept. A series that's been on the Saturn, DC, PS and PS2 in Japan... now only coming here. I like the CCG games, so for me it was an easy and interesting read. Great stuff.

AG, my man, good article, well written, concise, and informative. Oh and I gave you some props a few days back here (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28023). Maybe I just shouldve started a new thread :)

...I say, wasn't there a Netplay-enabled version of MTG? "Manalink", I think they called it.

Oh, wait, you mentioned that. Carry on, then. ;)
