I just got a complete Gold TRU Exclusive N64 system in. I was wondering if anyone knew of the approximate rarity/value? I was just wanting to see if it's worth my while to keep or if I should just trade it off for something I could use. Thanks for any help. X_x

Probably worth its weight in gold..
*crickets*
Sorry.
Is it completely brand new as in unopened? That might be worth something.
Try eBay and see if anything is selling there.
It probably won't be too much really. I'll give ya $5 right now.

I'd have to see the merchandise before I went any higher. ;)

What can I say? I'm terrible with money. ;)
Seriously though, I, for one, would pay big bucks for a gold N64. They usually go for around $100 on ebay. Great find!
...by the way, my $10 bid still stands... :wink 2:

Great Forumer! Would buy again! A++++++

I have always wanted a gold 64 from tru. I just wish I could go back about 5 or so years when they still had BUNCHES of N64 things, most on clearence too. I could just kick myself, back then I wouldn't pay like $40 or something for a gold on clearence, but now I am willing to pay $150 or higher.
I have just always wanted a BRAND NEW one. But as for used ones, they sell a little better than the reg. versions, but that that much.

Yea they don't go for much more than a regular one on Ebay.

I bought my n64 from TRU when the just offered the limited edition gold controller. The console was standard black, but it came wtih one gold controller. I think there was a big label on the box that said it was limited. I still have the box in the attic. I will have to check that out. I remeber when the gold controller by itself was getting like $40-$50. I wish I sold it then.

Yeah, but if the one he has is complete in the box, it will go for alot more than those two auctions.

I sold a Brand New complete in box Gold 64 on eBay back in October. It had a hard time pulling in the $150.00 reserve. It got up to $140.00, but the high bidder had to up his bid $10 (place a second bid) or it wouldn't have been met. But that was then and this is now.

Yeah my system is complete in box. It has the box, manual and also the 2 gold controllers (it came with 2). The box I'd rate about 9/10 for condition and the system would be about 10/10. The system hasn't even been used, let alone barely touched. It has all the baggies and styrofoam pieces (except for the extra controller styrofoam). Of course if someone wanted to trade for it I'd include like 13 games for the system (Zelda: OoT, Mario 64, James Bond: TWINE, WCW/nWo: Revenge, and some more).
I'd be willing to trade this (probably easily) for some Neo Geo CD stuff, or even an AES system (which I'm looking for). I'm looking for almost too much stuff to list. If someone wants this and has something really cool to offer then please PM me or even email me.
Thanks for the info guys. :-P
P.S. By the way I was carrying it along the street and a random homeless guy offered me $24.75
Can anyone beat that?!?! :P LOL
