Lists like that exist, there is a top 100 List of all games ever (in japan at least), maybe you can find it somewhere.. i have dont find mine right now ^^

Yeah, I too have always wanted to know what are the best selling games on each system.
Espcially the nintendo ones!
If would be pretty cool to find out, and I am sure there is a way but don't know where.
I think the best selling game over all systems worldwide is the Tony Hawk games.
I don't know wich is the bestsellers for each individual system.

Halo would be a good guess. I think every xbox owner except for me owns that one.

i think i just read on ign that halo has sold something like 4 million copies worldwide.persoally that makes me sad,i will always prefer timesplitters 2.if i can find the link i do remember a system breakdown for best selling games a few months ago on magicbox.

It only list PSX games and newer systems. I would like to know the best selling games for all systems, because I´m sure that SMB, SMB3, Sonic 2 and others would be on that list

I'm not really too sure, but I'd assume the pokemon games would be some of the best selling games ever.
On the other hand, what about the worst selling games of all time? I've heard that Demon's crest (A Great SNES game) actually managed to generate negative sales one week! Ouch.

I'm fairly sure that Super Mario Bros. 3 is the highest selling game of all time. I think it sold 17 million copies or something around there.

I know that pokemon is the best selling game of all time, then I think that the GTA series is next.
