R-Type Final ship codes

First off, this game owns. Problem is, looks like the codes needed to use some of the ships are changed from the japanese version of the game. However, snooping around a bit on the net, I've found the NA release codes, right here.

Ship 3: 5270 0725
Ship 24: 2078 0278
Ship 59: 1026 2001
Ship 100: 1009 9201

Ship 3, Lady Love, is just ownage. I killed the second boss just by blasting it with two level 3 beam shots.

So how's everyone else doin in this game?

That level 3 boss is a pain in the ass. You need to move around that force like a madman to keep from getting blasted, and even then, it still isn't too successful.

Still, I like all the ships to unlock, and AI battle is awesome.

Thanks for the code, Uber! Yes, I so desperately want this game, and I already had an opportunity to snag it... but... well, I have my reasons for refusing it. It's an ungodly stupid reason, but you'll have to understand that the only other R-Type game I don't own is R-Type III... now that I think of it, it was real idiotic to refuse, but it'll still be there when I want it... hopefully. :(

Finally an R-type final thread.
Love this game. Very hard indeed. Don't know if the difficutly is around Ikaruga, still waiting for that one to arrive.
Im playing the whole game through on "Baby" difficutly level......AND IT'S STILL HARD. Got all the way to the last boss and I don't know how to killl it.
Can someone help? I figured out that you have to shoot your FORCE to it and then blast your FORCE up to cause damage. Then after that he keeps shooting these things that you can't kill or damage. So all you can do is dodge and shoot at the boss which causes no damage.

By the way, those codes you posted, How do you enter them? Is that a game shark code cause I don't remember a menu in the game were you can enter numeric codes.
Theres also an invincible code on the net.

This is what you do:

1.Go to the R Museum
2.highlight the empty pedestal of one of those ships.
3.click on it, and it should bring up a box asking you to enter the password.
4.Enter the password.

Should have your ship then.

Im also having a hard time figuring out which ship is the best. All those numbers confuse me a bit. I unlocked one called "Eclipse" and it has an awesome shot. But Im sure theres still better.

Long story, but I needed quick cash, and that was the one thing that would get me the cash on the spot. Kept the games I have, though.
