Disclaimer: I'm a n00b and don't have a collector's guide and don't know what I'm talking about.

BUT, I imagine that Stadium Events is actually a really rare cart, so that the selling price of $270.00 is actually normal, and not at all ebay "insanity". Hence, only a "n00b" would be shocked and post that a rare cart sold for the price you would expect it to be sold at. Hence, "I hate n00bs." Would that be correct?

And I think the hand gesture is self-explanatory.

But it doesn't say: "Whoaaah, look at this" or "WTF ?" or "Cool !".

It's simply a link shared with everyone to look at ???

I still don't get it.

First of all, I am dontbookmarkmybidpage. I was sniped. I need two more NES carts, that being one of them. I actually have money for SE right now. The guy who outbid me has low feedback, and is also bidding on common/uncommon games, hence the distinction "n00b". People who need under 50 carts don't bid on Donkey Kong or Batman, two extremely common games.

If this turns out to be a second ID of someone who I've seen before, whoops. If this person is far along in their NES collection, whoops. If this person is autoracing, (which the finger would imply), whoops. I was annoyed. I know steinbomer, and would have liked to get this off of him. My bid was also what he paid, the first eBay instance of Stadium Events going over $40. (That amount being 265).

I wasn't implying that autoracing was a n00b BTW. (unless he's endoclone). I guess I should have lengthed that to "I hate n00bs who outbid me."

Stadium Events going for $250 is old news. It being up is news to know about.

funny how pa_nes_ian acts as if he's the only person who has one like its something SOO special. i know its rare, but a lot of people have it. you don't need to brag about it every chance you get(if you do even have it).

pa_nes_ian
10-16-2002, 06:48 PM
Blah Blah Blah lil boy. I am bragging because I got it for 5$ and people are paying 25 times what I did to get one.... I guess the receipt and me scanning the game while flipping your goofy ass off isnt enough to prove it

nesman85
10-16-2002, 06:57 PM
damn right it isn't. when the idiot sending it has already proved himself untrustworthy, it takes much more to prove something.

pa_nes_ian
10-16-2002, 06:59 PM
WTH are you talking about lil fella? I proved myself to be untrustworthy?? How is that jean claude?

nesman85
10-16-2002, 07:08 PM
go and read some of the bullshit you've posted on nesworld. i don't feel like listing it all.

portnoyd
10-16-2002, 09:28 PM
nesman85 has a valid point. NESworld is full of instances where one cannot believe you. Add on the fact that you tried bragging here that you got the SE cart in JULY (and no one cared, or believed you), and then went to the NESworld and bragged that you had it in September, and threw crap out about being let into Bandai HQ or that you called em up and they gave you a production run. Then there's the talking down to and the cursing. And the bragging about a game you don't have, and the bragging about a demo that's just retail with no label....

And no, the receipt isn't enough. Like I said, your extreme cursing immeditately after you stated that 900 SEs were produced because your "buddy" went into Bandai HQ/you called them up, and when you subsequently called out, by me, adaml, Syclone, and TRE, was truly what made me never believe a word you say. Someone who's telling the truth doesn't need to "tell ppl to get laid" or call them "dicksmoke". And the "lets meet up, I'll kick your ass!", when in reality, that is easily the stupidest retort ever used on the net.

You came to NESworld specifically to brag. That too.

dave

No offense Portnoyd or nesman85 but it seems that the only people that really care about him bragging about finding Stadium Events for $4.99 seems to be you 2 and him (with the exception of some people on NESWorld, but that doesn't count because alot of the people that frequent NESWorld are equally or more annoying than pan-es-ian)

Anyway, to my point, if you two just quite arguing about it people like me will only have to sift through one post about the find instead of 20 posts.

Hey Portnoyd,
Just out of curiosity, what is the 2nd game you need to complete your collection? ~Matt

Portnoyd,

also be interested if you care in just getting the carts, or you actually have all the boxes / manuals for all your games and just need 2 more.

Ok ok, I'll leave the prick waving cockfight to NESworld :D

I need Dragon Warrior 3 and SE. I've been waiting for a deal on DW3 complete, and it just hasn't happened yet. My best friend may be getting the box, manual, and maps mint from her dad, but this was a year ago :\ If I do get em, I'll grab the game loose... I even know where to get it to :P

I have about 600 manuals and 400 boxes. Finishing both will SUCK ASS :)

You see! You should have posted this info here earlier!!!

I just passed a complete DW3 (box, manual, etc) for ~60$CDN which is 40$US or so since I already got it..

Now it's already gone.. (local store)

Oh it's no problem. You're not the first to say they've had good DW3 deals :\
