I found 4 this morning. Sould 1 to nook for 5000bells.
Anyone know if you susposed to hold on to them for a contest or something. Nook didn't say anything special when he bought it so just wondering if they serve any other purpose then to make money.

I found 4 as well. I sold 3 to Tom. I saved one just in case. Does it go all day or is it just in the morning? The stragety guide is not so clear on this.

about every 15 to 20 mins one of your townfolk find one.
So you have till 9am to find any

In other news, it's been raining and I've managed to catch coelacanths at last! :D
Sell em' immediately. You get no bonus for keeping them.

40 grand aint' bad for 10 minutes work in total.

If your house is Feng Shui enough, catching those black/white fish, or red snappers are VERY easy. I actually catch more of them than I do Sea Bass now. I haven't gotten any mushrooms yet, been playing warcraft 3 and unreal tournament. Plus I have way too much stuff to do in the morning :)

I haven't gotten around to dig for mushrooms yet, as I start working at 7am, but I'll give it a try on Friday morning.
On the other hand, I caught 3 red snappers today. I guess my house has good feng shui.
