I have a gp32, got it from jonjandran on these forums. Great machine, like it a lot, but I realized the only thing I play on it was NES games. Because of this, I find that when I go somewhere I take two portables, my gbasp and the gp32. This is more than I want to carry. Would the flashlinker be better because of its obvious "double benefits", or is there another reason I should stick with the GP32. Also, am I correct in understanding that emulation on PocketNES is 100%?

Thanks in advance.

In my experience, emulation with Pocknes is NEAR 100% on the games it plays. There are certain games which won't work well. However, every game I've really wanted to play works well.

I've found that Clash at Demonhead runs slow for some reason.

PocketNES on the GBA is comparable to the NES emulators for the GP32.

If all you play is NES games, I'd go with the GBA. The price of a GBA w/FlashRom ballparks in the neighborhood of a GP32 w/memory card.

The advantage to the GP32 is the SNES, Genesis, C64, Atari ST, etc etc emulators for it. But if NES is all you're doing, then yeah, you got two handhelds doing the same thing.
