Ok, I just decided to do a quick eBay look up of this game, out of curiosity cause I seen that my local Gamestop had new copies of this for 24.99.

To my surprise...I couldn't find a single copy that sold for less than 70.00! And sometimes on up to 90.00 or 100.00! WOW!

Anyways, questions...was this game in short print or what? Did it not sell well? Why does this game go for so much?

I'm heading over to Gamestop in the morning to grab up all the copies they have, hell, might as well...make a lil profit off of some and keep one for myself...thus getting it free! ANyways, any info is good info...so if you have any please feel free to drop me some. Thanks a lot

I don't understand what has happened to this one, because not two months ago (early-mid December) you could find a dozen $29.95 B.I.N. auctions for DDR Disney Mix at any given time on eBay. Whatever, put 'em up there while it lasts... :)

It's DBGT syndrome, to a lesser extent.

It's a damn rare DDR game.

It's not that good.

Rabid DDR fans/completists don't care.

There are a LOT of rabid DDR fans/completists.

Actually, I do like the Disney DDR game (which I do own a copy of). It's a nice variety to see Disney characters instead of the usual DDR characters. Mind you, I would have liked more Disney songs and less DDR staple songs, but I still like it.

I give it up for It's a Small World (Ducking Hardcore Mix) and Electrical Parade (Retro Future Mix). And Mr. Bassman is good for a chuckle. ^_^

I actually stole that avatar from another board member, can't remember who had it... I'd give anything to know what/where it's from. I can watch her all day...

Edit: Christ, it's like she's in stereo. I'm going to have a fucking heart attack.

I've caught myself staring at it for up to 10 mins at a time before....don't know what it is at all...but I'm about to go make a post about it in off-topic. I MUST know! Shes so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute! :D

The pricing discrepancies might be import related.

DDR Disney Mix - US
DDR Featuring Disney's Rave - Japan

They have some different songs to choose from, and the Japanese version has no Maniac mode.

Cmosfm is referring to the US version though. It goes up and down a lot, but I've never seen it this high. Of course, I stopped checking last fall when I bought it for $40 with a pad. At the time there was at least one a day ending at that price. I think just has a high demand among parents. Maybe I should sell mine now and buy another when it comes down again.

I really like the game but as Lady Jaye said, not enough Disney songs. In fact, aren't there only like 12 songs total?

I just posted a couple of weeks ago in Buying and Selling about this. I'm trying to get into the Bemani stuff and only have a PS1. I managed to get Konamix and two pads for $40 but now the Disney and original DDR games are like $75 apiece... where they were less than half that in December. Oh well. I'm just going to end up grabbing some (gasp) burns of them since I'm not a PSX collector and am most certainly not paying such an inflated price.

US 1st Mix is going for $75 too??? That might explain why my girlfriend hasn't been able to find a copy anywhere...

This won't last. The DDR games, for some unexplained reason, have gone of wild swings over the last year price-wise. This is as high as it's gotten, but it seems that one week DDR Disney is 40 bucks and the next week it's 70.

In any case, any of the DDR games are a solid buy at below 25.

I think its in regards to the fact that Karaoke Revolution has done so well, that its resparked the interest in the DDR games..... From as far as ive allways seen the USA release of Disney DDR was the hardest to get, where DDR and Konamix were well released... And they are all out of print to the best of my knowledge (except maybe Konamix) making them a uncommon thing when you walk in to a game store to try and buy one new...
Last few times ive been at my favorite indy game store (at least once a week) ive seen at least one person come in and ask for the PSOne DDR games....

... Hmm. I wonder if my boxed set of DDR 1st mix and Konami pad should go up on eBay soon. I'm getting MAX2 and I don't feel like collecting DDR quite frankly...

I'd recommend against that. US 1st Mix has a bunch of cool stuff from Japanese 1st through 3rd that hasn't appeared in the US since. All hail Boom Boom Dollar.

Well, went to Gamestop yesterday, and all they had were 1 display copy...I grabbed it up of course, but Im dissapointed they didnt have more (and the jackass employee wouldnt check).

Anyways, as for the game, compared to the other DDR's, it's quite a dissapointment in the song selection in my opinion. Other than that it's pretty solid for a Disney game! 20 songs total just isn't enough
