View Full Version : Worst year for EA Sports

What's your thoughts on the most off-year for EA Sports? Not the old EASN, just EA Sports. In other words, from 1994 on up.
I'm going with 1999. Their PSX releases were horrific with framerates dipping all over the place from Madden to NHL.

Frankly, I think EA's games since 1999 have been awful. I only play the hockey games though.

I'd say 2000. It was the year before the big system switch to PS2, and most of the talent was making games for the PS2. Though I will also say that 1999 wasn't good, either.

i'd say 1997, the change to polygon-based models :angry: they looked soooo bad compared to the 96 versions :(

I'd say '97 as well. When they change the graphics, it was pretty bad.
