Yesterday in school I was talking with the usually group of social misfits in the gym *we have to waste time there before we can go to our lockers or home room*. One of them was talking about his N64 that somehoew was missing everthing and how he was going to blow it up this following weekend with firecrackers. A light bulb quickly turned on in my head with the mention of videogame sacrilage. Mind you, I do't really care for the n64 much since theres only a handull of game i want but COME ON @_@ you dont destroy videogame stuff *i still don't like it when people jokingly destroy SMB/DH carts and numerous sports titles*. Well anyways i tell him not to waste it and hand it over. with the out come looking dim since he seemed intent on blowing it to smitherenes, i went along with my day.

Then this morning he comes waltzing in the N64 under arm and a random rumble pak in hand. he handed them over and i instantly felt like i saved Timmy from the drowning in the well. today was a good day.

All i need now is a nice cheap site where i can buy cheap a cheap a/v chord, power chord, atleast 2 controllers and a game or 2, any one know of any good places to check?

I do,, I destroy videogame stuff.

I think you should stop by blockbuster video or funcoland and pick up
the missing hookups for it.
Once you get those, get a game called KI Gold and practice .
then come see me so you can still get an asswhuppin in it.

Dammit... Janet...

I swore I saw some .50 cent power cables yesterday, i'll see what I can do

but as for the a/v just use an snes/GC cable, it's the same thing!

I think you would be better off buying a entire system at EB games or gamestop. I think they are only $14.99-$19.99. It will cost you at least that much, probably more to purchase the individual parts. You would need , power supply, a/v cord and 1-2 controllers. Each of these things runs at least $4.99-$6.99 used. Just keep your bare system for backup and keep a lookout for parts at garage sales and thrifts. I have put together tons of systems over the years by buying parts cheaply. For some reason most people can't keep their systems and their cords together.

yep... i keep my hookups in a rubbermaid container and have to play
"Hunt the hookups" everytime i wanna play a system.

EB had a CHEAP power adaptor now that i think about it.

Gamestop:

$2.99 power cord
$9.99 (un-official new & used) or official used $14.99 controller (they might be slightly less, it's been awhile since I checked)
$9.99 new, offbrand Gamcube S-Video or RF switch (leave S-vid plug off if you don't have it and just use RYW) Or, if you have a cube, as previously mentioned, the video hook up is the same.

Games 99 cents -$34.99.
