$41+$4 shipping= $45 for a excellent condition game gear in mint box. Was it a fair deal?

LOL

...well, that doesn't sound like a bad price (could you find one in that condition cheaper? I don't think so...), but I wouldn't get a purple GameGear, myself.

I quoted you $47.61. You got a good deal, $2.61 below the average cost.

That is all.

hey DP, how do you know the average cost is $47.61? Just wondering

It is derived from a secret formula only exchanged between members of the DP Pricing Committee (tm), adjusted daily for trends in market prices, inflation, cost of living and growth of the electronic gaming community. The formula is composed in such a way that should a member attempt to speak it aloud or type it out, they would spontaneously combust. Perhaps you've been wondering where Sean Kelly and Ward Shrake are these days. Now you know.

Well, see, first you take into account the current market demand for Game Gears and the supply, the current price is the market equilibrium. Less refined economics state this is guesswork, but it's possible to definitely adjust for personal preference and other such things. Where P sub E is *BURSTS INTO FLAMES*

...hey, is this thing on? *tink tink*

This system i purchased new about 2 years ago

If that's the case, there's a high chance that it was a Majesco rerelease. I *definately* wouldn't pay more than $20 for it, since it uses a different type of plastic and is done very cheaply.

Well even if the plastic isnt as great as it was a few more years before he purchased it it wont really matter to me. As long as its "clean" as described I will be happy. Not too easy to come by a near mint game gear /w box
