...well, that doesn't sound like a bad price (could you find one in that condition cheaper? I don't think so...), but I wouldn't get a purple GameGear, myself.

Well, see, first you take into account the current market demand for Game Gears and the supply, the current price is the market equilibrium. If that's the case, there's a high chance that it was a Majesco rerelease. I *definately* wouldn't pay more than $20 for it, since it uses a different type of plastic and is done very cheaply.

Well even if the plastic isnt as great as it was a few more years before he purchased it it wont really matter to me. As long as its "clean" as described I will be happy. Not too easy to come by a near mint game gear /w box

I got mine at Ames before they went bankrupt a couple years ago for $30...they had stacks of em.
