I'm in the 1-3 hours range. I'd rather be in the 6-10 hours range. An hours a day, a couple on weekends. I'd be a bit more sane. Still weird, just more sane.
How many of you would rather be gaming more than you do?

It really depends on the week. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's between 10-14.

I am get a life guy. I do have an excuse, no cable or rabbit ears = no TV. I'm not hooked up to the net at home either, so it's games or rent a movie. I really hate reading (childhood trauma ;)), so don't suggest it. Work takes up 10 - 12 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week and I don't have a family at home.

im in the 1-3 range if im lucky.....classes, homework, food, the gym, and sleep at college really cuts into game time...partying on the weekend and sleeping till 2 or 3 cuts into weekend time a lot too....ahhaha

Guess which option I elected... though, I'm afraid that I have to disagree about high school being great. Well, school itself bites. The free time's nice, though. :D

3 to 6 hours. Homework takes up most of my time.

I'd say 6-14 for me depending on how much free time I have (sometimes I have a lot of free time), but it seems that just as I'm winding down I end up with a new game or game system to fill that free time again.
In the spring and summer that number drops closer to 6/week when I tend to spend more time outside.

1-3 if I'm lucky.
Truth is, I probably spend more time reading about the topics on the forum, reading the guide, magazines, and looking for games than I ever will playing them.
The hobby is the fun, the playing of the games is a bonus (when I have time.)

Usually about an hour a day for me. I also enjoy the other aspects of the hobby that orrimarko mentioned, plus the weekly hunt. Even when I have a bad week and find nothing, I always have fun when I'm searching out in 'the wild'.

Same here, though I think anything more than an hour a day and I'd feel like I was wasting my time.

You must have a family or needy girlfriend. Working 70 hours a week blows even more. With a family.

Only 6-10, and that's if I'm lucky. Working 2 jobs takes away time from gaming, sadly. But I do get a bit of gaming in while working at Gamestop, since our store is so slow. ;)

it's definitly 1-3 but that's with luck. Between College(18 cr. hrs.) and being with my girlfriend full time.....and my 3-4 hours of sleep. I usually don't game at all unless one of my friends drops in while I'm doing homework and we play some Mario Kart or something. I'm not even working this quarter and I'm still drowning fast. Considering I know next to nothing about Accounting and Autocad, and Novell and Cisco aren't sleeper classes, even knowing what i'm doing.
Also, I can remember when I was a kid(12) and I would log quite some many hours. I can remember going to the dentist one summer day around 11am. It was for a filling, since you gotta have sweets to go with games at that age, and I would get home around noon. I can remember my mom prying the NES controller from my hands while I was playing Skate or Die 2 and I was doing the halfpipe. My supper was cold :D ahhhhh, the good old days. One other thing though, you know if you won the lottery, you would still have something else to do. Your wife or girl, or man in some cases, would be trying to drag you off everywhere. I would really like to log a steady 10 hours a week. That's an hour every day and an extra hour for each day of the weekend.

I'm on the lower side of 20 hours. I'm fortunate in that my whole family generaly passes out around 9 pm every night. I usually have from 10 to 1 to play every night if I do it right. Some of that time is spent surfing the net (ebay) and deciding what to play. If I'm too tired I'll watch anime instead.

I really don't have a set schedule, so I just game when ever I can. Some weeks I'll be in the "Get A Life" zone, while in others I might be logging in just under an hour. I have some really random gaming habits.
Although, if I have to choose, I'd say the 10-14 range.
I play around 1-2 hours a day.
Lets revitalize this one :)
Usually I game for 24 hours a week. 8 hours at work and the rest at home. Its a good thing I dont work with other people or I wouldn't be able to get away with it.

I work a lot, so whatever free time I get I try to spend on gaming, if not I visit friends and we get our gaming on. Trying to get 8 stars in SMB 2 Japan (Famicom ROM, wish I had a real Famicom) so I can see worlds A-D and perhaps call myself a better gamer for finishing another title. I know they look like their All-Stars stages but it's just the thought of beating the whole thing, and not leave the game feeling as something's unfinished. So far up to 3 stars.
Average gaming time per day, between 3- 5 hours, off days when I'm not working between 6-8 hours.

Probably about 6 hours for me. I'm usually online during the day, so I play games at night. If the game is good enough it can be more than 6, so it really does depend on the games I am playing at the time.

I've been on a decent gaming spree during this holiday season. I'd say I average around 20 hours per week in the last three weeks.

Between 3-6 and 20+.
Depends on the weekend or if i have school.
Last week i didn't have school and played Halo 2 everynight starting between 8-11PM ending between 2-4AM.
I probably average 10-14. I don't remember if that was an option though...
