I have three carts for my SNES that say Not For Resale on them, and the label is white and red from looking above the cart. The games are Street Fighter II, NCAA Basketball, and Ken Griffy Jr. Baseball. Are these worth anything? Are they rare? Does anyone have an idea how many different ones there are? Thank you, John

These are definitly cool little items to add to your collection. These carts were used in retail stores across the country as demos. More often that not, the game is exactly the same as the one that is for sale. Even though these are cool little items, and only saw limited distribution, they aren't of much value. Here is a list that i've compiled based on the carts I have actually seen. There may be more lurking somewhere.
Street Fighter II
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time
Ken Griffey's Winning Run
Stunt Race FX
Tetris Attack
Yoshi's Island
NCAA Basketball
Contra III
Mortal Kombat II

Most are worth less than 30 dollars. The Contra III, Ninja turtles, and yoshi's island demos are a little more rare and may go for slightly more. The Ken Griffey cart is quite common. So common in fact, that Gamestop purchased all of these carts in bulk from major retailers such as Fred Myers. I hope this has helped. Oh, and if anyone has a turtles demo cart, PLEASE PM ME!!!!

I can vouch for a Donkey Kong Country not for resale cart (just picked it up) and a Donkey Kong Country III not for resale cart (label was messed up, passed on it).

Niels from nespit has a good list. Not sure if it's 100% complete, but he posts here, so I'm sure he'll answer that for you...

NCAA Basketball and Ken Griffey are worth less than $.50 a piece since the market is absolutely flooded with them. They're good if you're going for completion, but not for building value.
