HELLO EVERYONE. Just had a quick question that might be able to be answered but might not. I don't know how many of you out there collect brand new sealed games or not, but it's worth a try.
I have a question about if there is the horizontal seam present on the Zelda:Ocarina of Time Gold Editions for the Nintendo 64. You know, the gold copy you got for reserving it. I reserved 5 of them back in '98, yes 5, One of them to play and the rest to put in my collection. (I didn't need to spend $250 on just gold editions, but Zelda is one of my favorites games)
Anyways, I got them out the other day and noticed there weren't the horizotal seal on ANY OF THEM! I know that all NES and SNES games have the line, and can't remember the last time I opened a brand new Nintendo 64 game and don't remember if the line was present.
So I am just wondering if these were reseals and I just have wothless copies on my hands (well not wothless, but not original sealed games) , or if that is just how the Gold Edition's came, without the line.
Any help would definatley be appreciated!
THANKS!!

I'm pretty sure every game was sealed the same way.

sealed across top and bottom and then on the back there is a small 1/2 inch section where the plastic overlaps.

N64 games were sealed differently than NES and SNES.

Yeah, I was pretty sure that not all N64 games were sealed the same. But today, I got a N64 game in the mail that was new and it was sealed with the horizontal line. But like I said, I am pretty sure that not every game is sealed the same way, but am not sure?
