My name is Sean, I'm from Massachusetts. This is all new to me, I mean I've been playing games but the whole collecting issue. It started a few weeks ago when I was playing some NES emulators and to make a long story short I longed for my NES. To my suprise my father (parents are divorced and I live with my mother) gave it to the goodwill cause he figured I was uninterested. Anyways this coupled with the fact that I always regret trading in games has turned me into a packrat. I didn't even know this whole word of retrogaming existed but I'm hooked. I'm getting an NES and N64 for $30 together (hope thats a good deal) and I got a Broken DC (Fixed with a new power switch for $2) and Soul Caliber today. I'm talking too much...just wanted to introduce myself. [Edit]Ooops, I didn't see the stickied post. Sorry for taking up excess space

I would be rather scared if my welcome to the forum was from a guy that looked like that...in any case, yes, welcome to the Forum! We'll help you make up the loss of that NES in no time, for sure (well, besides any feeling of attachment you might've had for that particular unit...can't fix that). Buy & Sell forum's seen a lot of games change hands already in just these few months of the new year.

Hey Sean, welcome to the forums!
Go take a look at the Rooms of Doom (http://www.videogamearchive.com/gameroom) to find out just what kinds of fanatics you're dealing with here. :) If you're starting to collect some older games again, check out the Buying and Selling forum, I've found quite a few good deals there myself!

Try not to be overwhelmed by people's collections here. Just do your own thing, use some of our advice, and in no time you will have a collection worth bragging about. :)
