ColecoVision - Need buying help plz!

I'm interested in buying a ColecoVision game system soon. I need to know what a good price would be for a system. Is there anything else that I should know about ColecoVision?? I haven't owned a ColecoVision since I was about 9 (12 years ago) so I need to learn everything about it again, anything that is relevant at least. Thanks in advance.

NUMEROUS common issues, like power switch issues (garbled graphics), AC adapter issues (black bars on screen), auot level select (blown controller input IC) and broken directional switches in the controller.

All of these issues are fixable, but in my experience, a fully working CV in the wild I have never seen. Most Ebay sellers have a VERY loose definition of 'working' .

I see nothing wrong with buying a faulty one and fixing it up. The inportant thing is to pay 'faulty' price for faulty hardware.

Only way I'd pay more than $20 for one, is if it was working 100%.
