Just out of curiosity...

Does anyone here have a newish PCI video card (such as a Geforce 2) that they would be willing to part with? And for how much?

probably not what you had in mind but I have a PCI Matrox G200MMS w/ 32meg for 100. Its a quad monitor card.

I think I have a PCI Geforce 2 or two kicking around here, both still working. PM me an offer, I'd also trade if you prefer that.

A geforce 2 nowadays shouldn't run you more than $20. I bought mine for $50 2 years ago, and man is it outdated. I'm dying for my new card.

EDIT: My bad, that's AGP. A PCI one will be a little bit more, maybe $40.

actually, jorpho is right, pci cards of geforce2 or better cards are expensive. I got a real sweet Nforce2 board for 70 with a built in gforce4 dual monitor card. You'd probably be better off buying a new motherboard.

Aye, but my current AGP card has my TV tuner in it, and it would be much more costly to replace the TV tuner in the end.

I'm thinking that as outdated as a Geforce 2 might be, it's still probably quite a bit better than my Voodoo2.
