I picked up a Freeloader today for $5 at EB. Was looking to pick up some imports to try out. I liked Bonk and Adventure Island and was wondering if anyone has tried the Hudonsoft Selections that were recently redone on the Gamecube. They also did Lode Runner and Star Soldier previously. Anyone have these? Are they any good?
What other import GCN games do you recommend?

Yep I have all 4 of the Hudson remakes so far for Cube... personal scores would be:
Star Soldier: 7/10
Lode Runner: 6/10
PC Kid: 6/10
Adventure Island: 6/10
Good, fun little games but don't expect major experiences.
As for other import stuff, so naturally I will be recommending Japanese only games here as you're in the US :P
Winning Eleven 6 FE (if you like soccer)
Shikigami no Shiro 2 (if you like Ikaruga style shooters)
Donkey Konga (but you can't save properly unless you have a Japanese Cube)
Wario Ware (but this now has a US release for May I believe)
Mr Driller DrillLand (same saving problems as Donkey Kongs)
Nintendo Puzzle Collection

Hey, Mayhem, is it possible to save your game in PC Kid? I Have it but can't figure out if it's possible as I speak no Japanese. Some imports I'd suggest getting:
Doubutsu No Mori E+ (Upgraded version of Animal Crossing--but is in Japanese. Comes with e-reader+ and cards)
PC Genjin
Doshin the Giant (I'd get the PAL version if I were you. Everything is in English)

U must get "Star Soldier"
It's one of the best shmups I ever played.highly addicting
10/10
These I will import soon:
Adventure Island
Bonk
Naruto 2 (I heard from many ppl that it is one of the best fighting games ever....get videos at cube-ign.com)
DragonDrive
Shiki 2 (shooter)
and Doshin is great ;highly underrated and has a strong japanese touch

@Querjek - nope, not possible to save as far as I've seen. You have to play the whole game in one sitting. Yes, old skool time here ;)
@Drexel - no release dates for outside Japan, so I think they're gonna be staying in the land of the rising sun.
