Hey, everyone, wanna know a great way to find old posts of yours? I know bumping posts is a common thing around here, so maybe this will help out someone else. If you VIEW your profile (not click on the link to edit it), there's a link to view all posts by yourself. Also, the search option for the forums lets you search in one specific forum, AND by author, so you can find all the posts you ever made in any given forum. It's pretty cool :)

Why were you expecting $600? There is almost no precident for AVs going for $600, except when Tedb bought one in 1997 when eBay was just getting started.

$850 is reasonable, and better than what they were hitting a couple years ago. And it's in nice condition.

one with all its original parts usually sells for around 1000, i think that the 800$ price was average for that item, in that shape.

How much for a complete system with all the games and boxes and in mint condition?

That's the only way I would pay a big sum of money for one of these.

Not that I expect I will ever get a chance to get one of these anytime due to the high prices they fetch.

I used to own one of these when they first came out and it stopped working within 2 months. Are these things hard to maintain? I have a hard time spending a lot of money on something that will break in 2 months! I must admit when it worked the games were fun.

I wish I had saved the unit. I was young at the time and did not think much about collecting. At least I have my memories of this system.
