Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles... Why no Hot Chicks?

My brother is playing FF:CC. I can't really get into that sort of game it seems, but he's a master.

The game is simply beautiful. For the first time, I do believe I have not seen one sprite in the whole game. The environments are very well detailed. It makes you wonder just WHY we even NEED a new console generation so soon.

But one thing is missing.

Final Fantasy X-2 has hot chicks.

This one is filled with stupid little woodland creatures and freaky looking fantasy movie styled sorta-humans.

No hot chicks, but plenty of Malboros! I saw the commercial, and they were fighting a Malboro... of all creatures to keep on hand, why the Malboros?!? ARGH!!! Go away, Bad Breath! @_@

I guess they're a necessary part of the FF continuity... so are Cactuars. I had better see Cactuars in CC! I'm a little more partial to them than hot chicks in RPG's. :D

This is just a guess, but maybe it's due to the perceived age demographic of the Gamecube. The PS2 is aimed at 20-something's mostly, so you have to stick a hot chick or two or three in there... if the Gamecube is aimed at a less mature audience, I guess this isn't really a concern, since girls have cooties.

What is with that robot (?) on the cover with the pointy Madonna bra though? That's creepy X_x

Indeed, the graphics in the game are stunning. Best I've seen on the GameCube. This game and FZero can show very well what the system can do when pushed to it's limits.

And yes, I agree there's no good looking women (or men) cause it's not a RPG game. Less need for them. Every RPG has to have at least one good looking person of both sexes. It's like a unwritten rule. LOL

Programmers are just lazy. Not many want to actually put EFFORT into making games look beautiful. They figure, "Well, we can cut corners now. And when the next genration comes along, we can cut corners then. Why should we have to work to make our games realistic looking?"

Bah. Mother fuckers. Atleast Square-Enix-Satan is doing their job. I just wish there was a REAL FF game on the Cube. I'd kill for a port of one of the PSX/PS2's older greatest FF works. With the normal battle system. Not what they did with this one. Real-time battling is best left to Link. If I want Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior, I want Turn-based. Or at least what FFVII has. Or better yet, the cool battle mode in Mario & Luigi. Dodging enemies is as easy as hitting the jump button.

I have nothing against the look of the X-2 girls. They look nice and cool. Her above included.

As for Crystal Chronicles, who says that now Square's gotta have the sex appeal thing going on for all of their games? If you guys want girls, get mags (or a real woman).

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind them being pretty and sexy and cool and all, but it doesn't mean that every game has got to look like that. And it's beyond the "kiddie" factor on the GCN. You guys complain that the current Castlevania chara design is too effiminate, then you have a problem playing as girls in X-2, but now when playing Crystal Chronicles, you suddenly want to play as "hot chicks"? Explain that to me, please.

I agree with gamegirl....this is possibly the dumbest thread EVER. Who cares if there are "hot women" in a video game? That's not what the games are about. Is it? Cause if it is, I need a new hobby. Personally, I could care less what the characters look like as long as the game is good. I've even played and ENJOYED the Cho Aniki games. It's really irrelevant if an RPG has pre-pubescent sex interest in it in my book....in fact, typically, I find it detracts from the game.

Also....game girls...no substitute for live real women. Trust me on this...you'll thank me when you're older ;)

Instead of buying a game that has hot girls, why not just buy "normal" games and a porno movie?

And as far as Gamecube games with hot girls, P.N.03 gets my vote.... although Vanessa's German accent sounds really fake (you only hear it later on in the game anyways).
