I found this at a thrift. I picked it up because I thought it might be an Atari controller of some kind, and it had a button on top of the joystick (I'm left-handed, so this is preferrable over the traditional stick). I was right about it being a VCS controller as it works perfectly, but I have no clue what the heck it is or where it came from. The only identification it has is a small logo that says "Super Stick." No company, no product #, no anything. I suspect this is a pirate controller, but I'm not sure. I looked it up in the DP guide, but no dice. So does anybody know more about it? :? I have a thirst for knowledge!

OK, so I can't seem to link to it, so here's a link to my Yahoo Profile. I made it my profile pic. Check it out.

You've got yerself one of them there whatchamacallit, after market Joysticks. It's Atari compatible, and that's what I'd call it, as opposed to "pirate".

IMO they are worthless for collector value BUT if it works good, and you like it, it's a great "use" controller, with no fear of breaking it or wearing it out, as it's common as hell. A good "working" controller.

I have 2 utterly perfect mint genuine Atari 2600 sticks, which I hardly ever use. they are collectibles. for playing, I like to use the less colectible 'compatibles' like yours.

That stick should work with a lot of things, including classic computers, like Commodores, if I'm not mistaken.

It was the first stick I used on my ST... Then I found a pair of XE controllers that *match* the colours on the ST. Just like the 2600 ones but grey... I actually like the 2600 ones.

I got that stick with a trackball by the same company. It functions like a joystick and is really cool.
