I'm not surprised. It would be VERY hard to find someone serious enough to want to buy the jet on EBay, despite all the warnings and conditions what not that the seller put into the auction. I'd just take the plane around to various air shows, and demostrate it. Some company or CEO will buy it, I'm sure. :D

To clear up what it is/was
It is the only privately held F-A-18 Hornet(basically one of the Blue Angels planes) in the world.... The seller was asking for 1 million (where it would be sent to you in pieces) and for 9 million for them to ship it to you, have it rebuilt by an expert group, painted and ect ect...

It was serialed numbered, and told of the flight hours ect....When i discovered it last night and posted this, it was at 70Mill, then dropped to 30 Mill, and was floating around there last time i checked... It might have been pulled becuase of the massive fake bids, and the fact that the group has posted a phone number to call to make serious enquiries about it and stuff.... One would think that it was real, becuase it was completely sanctioned by ebay, and that it was showing up on my homepage when i signed on last night (sbc/yahoo homepage) but who knows..... It had huge numbers of hits on the page, and might have been too much, because i dont think that they set up a serious bidder thing for the high priced stuff, letting it get to the 99,999,999 price that it did....

I like the category that it is listed in: Listed in category: Consumer Electronics > Radios: CB, Ham & Shortwave > Ham Radio > Accessories > Antennas LOL . Now that I think of it, the high school that I attended has one of these out in front of the school, they had the Air Force to come and paint it in the Blue Angels color. As I remember it, a couple of their pilot's came along also. The name of the school is the Cumberland County Jets.
