Introduction:
Many people play it but the fewest would admit it.
The choanikis are surely one of the most disturbing game-series ever.
Some say they are from gays for gays;some say they are great pieces of VG-art and others say they are just weird!
but all of these people agree about something: They ARE something special,
something different
Let's have a talk bout this weird series.

Let me start:
I played the PSX version back when everyone had a PS and I was shocked.
Not only that it was a really bad shooter,NO,cause of the many (homo-)sexual
thingys in the game!
Now I only have the Super Famicom version at home and first time I played it I was (again) shocked! Why?
Cause they made a (not too bad) beat'n fly'n up out of it!
I played it a bit today and thought why the heck did they do this?
Why beat'em up instead of shoot'em up? All other(as far as I know) choanikis
are shooters!What was the reason for this desicion?
My theory:
I think the developers knew/know that they aren't the best programmers(*looking at PS/Saturn choaniki-shooters*) and they knew that the SFC has a crap/slow CPU.So they thought instead of making a (hell of a)slowdownish shooter,they make a beat'n fly'n up!
Speaking of developers:
What other games did they develop?Did they even produce other games?
and what game is the choaniki version for wonderswan?

I found one of the funniest reviews(SFC Choaniki) I ever read in my life:
Game Plot: This should serve as an example of why you should not download files from sites in Poland, especially when the file is described with a string of text similar to this: "sjavjenky rommy... boljay noxwob. bolshi fight za homosex (!!!)". This game is quite literally the single most concentrated mass of gay that I have ever in my life encountered. It's like a huge, flaming gay star exploded and collapsed in on itself, sucking itself down into a black, gay hole. The incredibly flagrant homosexuality in this game eclipses that of Gundam Wing: Endless Duel by several billion orders of magnitude. Endless Duel had intermission screens with the main characters in loose-fitting tank-tops. This game has large, oiled men in thongs with fairy wings dancing on flowers. It has huge, shadowy men thrusting their pelvises at the screen and characters whose combat moves include such powerhouse attacks as the "bend over and present your bare buttocks to your opponent, who happens to be a hugely muscled bald man wearing a loincloth." I don't think there really is a plot to this game. If there is, I really, really, really don't want to know it.
