Hi Folks,

Just a question for fun: What's the rarity and value of Turok 2 DEMO cartridge for the N64 ? Any insight would be helpful, thanks!

I found it in a flea market, couldn't leave it there. :)

The only place i remember seeing them before i found this one was playing with one in a Toy's R us store. The game only has 3 full levels to play with with the intro and all.

I know there's a web page describing with screenshots about this cart, but i don't remember the URL. I'll try to take a picture of the cart and post it here.

Try reposting this in the proto forum (unless a mod will just move this thread there (*hint, hint* mods.. go on be nice ;) )). There was a topic discussing demo carts a while back in which N64 carts were mentioned.

This sort of post would probably get more attention there.

Can't be more than a few thousand of that demo. How many Toys R Us, Target, Kmart, et al are in USA?

Figure in about half getting sent back to Nintendo or tossed in trash capactor. That'd be your approximiate number of available copies in USA. I almost got a Turok demo from Toys R Us which has white label with black text, no picture. not sure if it plays different from retail version.
