I don't know if this is old news but it's new to me. Does this mean that MS3 isn't coming to PS2 anymore?:

I thought I heard the US release of the PS2 one was canned.
Even though I have the MVS kit, I'll be picking up the xbocks port. I think SvC is scheduled for a live port as well.
Now if they put SS5 on live, I will have to change my pants.

Slug III for the PS2 is indeed canned. But there's always the import if you wanna risk pokin around with the delicate flower that is Sony's machine.

good ,that way if its live I can play online .I ve already beat slug 3 on mame but playing it on the box im sure will be much better than my slow ass puter.

As the current gen console of choice for me right now MS3 on Xbox is a little gift from the heavens.
and not to flame but the Xbox is not the poormans anything it kills both PS2 and Gamecube in everyway but that has been done to death and is just my (educated) opinion.

He didn't say anything about ps2 or Gamecube. He said MVS, in which case he is correct, but I ain't complaining. :D

I think the previous poster was saying that the X is a poor man's MVS because one can get Neo games on it with paying the high price tags. Kinda like how the Dreamcast was a poor man's Neo.

But seriously, the Xbox is a bit more reasonably priced than MVS stuff. Not all of us are rich (and creamy) like butta.

Not rich. Just don't buy much else besides MVS or CPS2 stuff. Plus, lots of MVS games are cheaper than a new release xbox game. Good ones too.
Teh romz is the poor mans MVS, but hey I got those too.
