Okay, now that the thing has been released.

I have some questions about it.

I was just at Lik-Sang looking at their page about it and they have some really nice photos of the thing. Makes it look even more beautiful than I had thought. I've decided I'd like to get it.

But they make no mention of it coming with SMB. I thought they came packaged with Super Mario Bros. Or did they change this? Or is Lik-Sang just not mentioning it. They say that they are still waiting for the games to come in but make no mention of a game being packed with it.

I was also over at VGD and noticed it STILL says they cost $134.99 and the games were still $22.99. I swear someone said they had to raise the price because of Nintendo. What is going on with their site? Are they or are they not more expensive at VGD?

Also, approximately how long does it take to ship something from Lik-Sang to the US? Being in Hong Kong I would expect a few weeks. Ball park figure. Out of experience.

No, it doesn't get shipped with SMB. It was a false report that the exporters received (Lik-Sang, PlayAsia etc) that the SP would come with that game. It just comes as a normal SP would with the charger. No game. So you have order all of them separately if you want them.

That's a bummer.

Great. Now I have to ask myself, "Do I want to pay $50 more for a GBA just for the colors and the sweet, sweet collectors box?"

For me, it really is a tough choice.

Either way, I'll be importing a couple games at least. But I so want the GBA itself!

I just got my Famicom SP. Joy.

I don't think I'm even going to play with it. I'm just going to keep it as a collectible.

Damn, it doesn't come with SMB? :( Damn, I really wanted it too. Oh well I may just order that and Excitebike for the hell of it.

Mine should be there when I get home from work today.

Just tracked it, said rescheduled because I wasn't there to sign for it.

I've ordered plenty of times from VGD in the past, every time UPS has just left it.

Fucking idiots.

With PlayAsia's own slight discounts for buying the games together, along with my 15% off I get on any order from them (yeah I know, I'm a lucky git :D ), it comes to $379 including shipping. Which at the current exchange rate is only about 200 GBP for me...
