Aybody else love this show?
My god I have never laughed so much!
I dig Portal too, it took a while to get into it though. Once I did I never strayed. It sucks that only 2 new episodes are left. i would buy the entire series on DVD but it is highly doubtful that they would ever bring it out. They need to take off just about every show on that channel and get some shite that's truly appealing. Game On sucks ass and anything with Victor Lucas makes me want to stab my balls. He sucks ass too. Long live Portal!

Personally, I can't stand G4. They have so much crap content, I mean, they have a show devoted to CHEATS. I could rant all day about how retarded of a concept that is, but the final point is - why would you watch a show when you are three seconds away from a mouseclick to gamefaqs or any number of cheating websites? Speaking of gamefaqs, I swear whatever that show is where they pretend that they are not just a bunch of worthless troglodytes and "review" games...god, if I have to listen to one more game getting deducted points for "like this graphx sux0r d00d" or "where da hookrz @? GTA pwnz this game" I'm going to scream.
And Portal...well, I just don't get portal. I kind of look at it like a dog hacking up a half-eaten frisbee - sure you don't see it everyday, its kinda weird...but you move on quickly.

I agree with your stance on G4. I'd estimate that 90% of their shows are trash, with CHEAT! being one of the worst. The shows recycle too quickly. A network about gaming is a good idea in theory, but things happen all the time so it's hard to keep up.
I think that a network with more shows like G4's Icons and things like that would be good. I think that trying to keep up-to-the-minute is a bit too much to handle.

Darn... and here I was hoping you guys were talking about a whole show about the old C64 game Portal... that would have been pretty interesting.

Saw G4 for about three weeks while I tried out Time Warner's digital/HD service (which completely sucked). A few of the programs were OK, never saw Cheats, thought g4tv.com was really stupid.
Back on DirecTV, I can't see it and really haven't missed much. If the merger between G4 and TechTV happens, I"ll get another chance.
