Backlit Game Boy Color

Are there any instructions on the net that explain how to modify a Game Boy Color with a lit screen? I tried Google with no success :(

I know GBA SP works fine and all, but I found a working one cheap at a thrift store the other day and I'm dying for a reason to justify purchasing it when I had two already. :)

I've heard of someone installing an Afterburner frontlight kit into a Gameboy Color for their wife. This woman had a disability that left her the use of one hand so the vertical orientation of the GBC was preferable to the GBA. That would probably be your best bet.

Jonjandran stuck one into a NeoGeo Pocket Color so they seem to be fairly versatile kits.

Yea it's not to hard to put one in a GBC.

But as far as I know there's not a guide anywhere.

If you've done a GBA , you should be able to handle it. 8-)
