Atari 2600 Atlantis Rarity......

I'm sure this has been posted before -but I couldn't find it so.....Is there any way to tell the difference between the ulta common Atlantis (night) and the ultra rare Atlantis II? Do most collectors buy every copy of Atlantis they see? Atari age mentions a font difference -does anyone know if this is a good measuring stick or in fact the only one? thanks

The red beams are brighter on the second ones label. Very hard to see difference, I have comepared them. Pictures. The font is easiest way.

You also score less points in Atlantis II.

I personally don't believe that there is any way to tell without actually plugging the game in unless you're lucky enough to find one boxed with the little "Atlantis II" sticker still on the outside of the box.

I just assume I'll never find one and don't worry about it.

If you are wondering how much they go for ask Buyatari. He bought one (really beat up) for $450, if im not mistaken.

thanks guys -that DP picture was helpful. I wasn't concerned with the price -it was just that I keep seeing the Atlantis Nightscene cartridge and wondering if one of them may be the Atlantis II.
