What is it for? I would think the CD unit if it were released, but I don't think it was. So what else would you use it for? It's Copyright 1994 Nintendo.

I think these were the carts that you could take to stores and download games to them.

Ah.. sort of like the way the FDS worked.
Of course, Japan only, right? Neat idea. Pirates loved it though. ;)
