what is your favorite mario game, why?

Super Mario World for the snes ruled, it had the most replay value n was the best (or 1 of the best) snes games... but I cant choose between that n mario RPG :?

Does Yoshi's Island: Super Mario World 2 even count as a Mario game? Reason is then would Yoshi 64 or whatever be considered one also? Me thinks Nintendo fucked up the continuity of the series in all forms. Much like Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 ....with follow-ups to that being Wario Land 2, 3, and 4.

for me it's a tie between SMB3 and SMW, but i also really liked SMW2, M64 and SMS

Well, I'd have to say Super Mario World was the best QUALITY game, but in my heart, the original Super Mario Bros. was the most fun game of all. I don't know why, people still look at me weird when I fire it up.

I liked SMBW, it's just I didn't get to try it much. The arcade style one is great, I am the Master, but the best is probably super mario bros. 3, because it's very addicting.
