Hi kids, I recently got MK-DA for my Xbox, and it is a pretty fun game, but I have a question for those of you who have this game--I am having problems performing the "fatalities"! I have all the proper codes to perform the fatalities, but every single time I attempt it it won't work! I know this sounds silly, but it is part of the fun with the MK series. I have tried to do the fatalities with almost every character, and nothing! Is there something with the timing, or how far you must stand from the opponent, or what? I have the codes from the Feb. 2003 issue of Xbox official mag. Let me know what I am doing wrong! Thanks,

Well, I dunno! How do I get in that stance? I beat my opponent, and it says "finish him/her" so then I plug in the code, and nothing happens-it just goes on to the next opponent!

To get in the fatality stance you just push one button. If you have the fatalities you should also have the manual that tells you what button to push to enter the fatality stance.

I believe it's the same button used to change your fighting stance. Just keep chanigin till it says "Fatality". Been a while since I played this game. I loved using Subzero's fatality. :evil:

Yep, there correct.

But I want to put in my 2 cents on the game itself.

This game is awesome! If anyone doesn't have it, please do yourself a favor and pick it up. With an awesome story mode, tutorial, etc...and SOOOOO MUCH TO UNLOCK (which I unlocked it all! [/brag]) it's definately worth the going price now. It's also the first fighting game that I actually WANTED to master!

But when it comes to the fatalities, the game is very lacking. It's no where near as gory as even the original was. The fatalities consist of what seems to be bodily explosions that churn out bloody popcorn. I'd like to know who put the ok on all parts of the body to look like popcorn but it doesn't work very well. Hopefully the next one will improve on this.

Thats all I have to say for now, now go buy the damn game if you dont have it! :D

This topic got me all wanting to see fatalities. Not really any good site I could find with lots of fatalities. Anybody know of any?

Ok, I beat my opponent, I get into fatality stance, and do the codes, and still no fatalities!!! Why isn't it working? I am playing under my profile, in arcade mode! This is pissing me off!!

Either my game isn't working right, or I am doing something wrong! This can't be this hard to do can it? I have been trying it all afternoon! Either it is the game or I am a moron! WHY CANT I MAKE THE FATALITIES WORK?? :angry:

I spent half the day trying to get this to work, and I am tired of it! I am gonna take the bloody game back, and either get my money back or trade it for a different one! I am thinking it must be a glitch in the game, I have tried the combos fast, slow, in versus mode, in arcade mode, I messed with the options, tried ALL the characters many times--won't work!! Maybe I will buy the GC version!? Frustrating! :angry:

MKV is outstanding, except for the weak fatalities.

I don't know what you're doing wrong... I have the PS2 version and can do them all fine... O_O

And the only weak Fatality was Quan Chi's

I took the game back tonight after work, and bought a BRAND NEW one for Xbox. I have absolutely no excuses now!! LOL!! After I feed my gut, I am gonna try a few rounds!! I'll let you all know how I fare....(not that you really give a sh*t anyway! LOL)
