Is Import-Mania going to be a permanent addition to the forums, or will it be forever lost to the sands of time?

Sadly, I think that the plans for its destruction are in the queue.. just my impression from earlier posts, don't really know for sure though.. probably would have to hear from one of the mods or DP himself.
This brings up a question I meant to ask before, but in the case of destruction, what happens to all of these threads that are now in the forum du jour? Please don't tell me that they get nuked, I'd hate to see a lot of good answers found in this forum get lost forever.
EDIT: Nevermind, found my answer in the archives. I guess all of these posts just float back into the Video Game Forum.
EDIT #2: No, it seems like it has survived... looks like we lost Kingdom Arts in the process though.
