Ive been tempted to buy this everytime I see it at my gamestop, but Im not sure I wanna spend 25 bucks on a ps2 controller that looks like an nes controller.

Anyone else buy 1 of these, and if so, is it worth my hardearned cash?

yikes, sorry I can't dig up the link...I'm in class but I made a thread about this once. Go to the search page and type in retrocon or retro con in the VGF and you should find a post. I want two of them but now....nobody carries them O_O

I just got one of these this weekend!

BEST CONTROLLER EVER!!

The controls are very responsive, and it is actually very confortable and not too blocky, as some claim the NES controller is.

Also, it looks pretty magical in the dark, all lit up and stuff.

The buttons feel great....best d pad I've felt on anything in years....right up there with the PS1/2 dpad and the SNES/NES dpad. I can't believe no one has made a controller like this before.

Oh, and EB has em for 19.95.

they're releasing this for ps2 (why?), xbox (makes sense with the emulation), but NOT gamecube...i think this might be nice with the gameboy player... but why the ps2?

oh well, i have psx->usb adaptor so i might pick this up sometime.

You have to get the Hori Gamecube SNES mockup controller. It is an awsome controller, and feels comftorable. Doesn't work on all games, but a hand full. Worth the 20 bucks.

These controllers are awesome, and come in three colors: Gray, Blue, and Black. Very cool, can only hope that Nintendo does something along these lines next year for the big 20 of 8-bit.

My Gamestop has the RetroCon's for $20 also, price changed about 2 weeks ago. Worth every penny, except it's impossible to play Amplitude with em.

anybody know if it works on a psone? I don't know why it wouldn't as the sony controllers work for both....but I could be wrong. Any input would be great. Time to play NES with a retrocon!

I know for sure that PS1 controllers work on a PS2, so any PS2 controller should work on your PS1.

I got one a few weeks back and it's now my default controller, it looks great and controls just fine. I love me some retrocon!
