Great investigative article about Infinium Labs

Okay, so that article (http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NTEyLDE=) is nothing new (it was published over 6 months ago), but it came back to the surface (at least according to Penny Arcade) when Hard OCP got sued by Infinitium (what for? A cease-and-desist? Libel? The article seems to me to be well investigated, and not libelous at all).

Anyway, if you haven't read it yet, I recommend it. Let's say that I'm now very, very skeptical of the so-called Phantom.

They didn't threaten to sue, the merely threatened them to take the article down. Basically the website said they wouldn't.

Here's a link to the letters that were sent to them. It looks to me like they are being threatened with a lawsuit if they don't remove the article. But then again, I'm still not sure they are a real company. BTW, I love PA response to this LOL

After all this, and sketchy activity by Inf. (where's the publisher/game list?!), they really need to just lie low until they can blow people away with their system. Naysayers are many (I'm one for sure), and you can't fight them yet. It also doesn't help that their army of fans are those sucking up to get into, or are in, the beta.

WOW. I had not read that article before, what a deal. It's amazing what a slick website and some pretty renderings can get you (like $25 million bucks).

According to Infinium's own forums they only have $15 million. Most of that they got at the end of January. It sounds like the $25 Million was a lie. How do you loose money you "have in hand" because of an article?

Another thing on Infinium's forum is the employees keep saying that bad press is still good press. Why threaten [H]?
