I just thought it looked really nice and I've never had one.

Was it an alright deal ?

And does a regular NES power supply work with it ?

Yes (especially in such great/non-yellowed condition) and ABSOLUTELY NOT.

You *WILL* fry your famicom if you try and use an NES power supply (at least the toaster version.

I believe one of the Genesis power supplies will work. I think it was #2

I'm nothing of an import person, so could someone please explain the holes on the controller? It looks like a cheap speaker could be housed right there. Do you see what I'm talking about?

DO NOT TRY AN NES ADAPTER! I did this and, let's just say that I have a nice looking showpiece.

In the game "Beat Takeshi's Challenge" you had to sing into the microphone and in "Kid Icarus" if you cried into the mircophone the shopkeeper lowered the prices.

I had that one on my Watch List. I didn't bid because I didn't have $30 to spare. Nice find. I'd love to get one just to be my first Import.

Of course, I can also import the GBA Famicom and do the same thing.

Holy shit..I didn't know that!

Both kinds of shops? How did the NES know crying from other sounds? Did you have to hit a certain note?

.

How did you have it in your Watch list ?
I bought it in like the first 5 minutes it was listed. :hmm:

I thought I was fast on this one. LOL

I thought I was fast on this one. LOLI dunno. But the picture looked familiar, with that white thing on the right side. Which is what I'm basing that on. I may have "Watched" it, but I only do that to check back later. I could have seen it as soon as it was listed and just "Watched" it. I don't visit my Watch list all the time anyway.

I may be wrong though. But it was familiar.
