gamestop shipped out all Dreamcast at mine today

SO I heard about the great deals about Dreamcast stuff going down at Gamestop. Well I'll call down there and lady tells me she shipped it all out the other day. UGH why does this have to happen to me? I've been waiting and hoping to find some great games and now they don't even carry it anymore. I thought this gamestop would be getting some more stuff since they carry so many old games.

Ugh I'm so upset over this I feel sick to my stomach. I had all the games picked that I was going to buy and use with my extra 10% off card. I can't believe this happened. I guess I"ll have to resort to ebay and the ones that come into the pawn shop.

stores running deals on games before they ship them out is excellent. i don't remember if the game store in the shopping mall by my house is an eb, or a gamestop, though.

i actually got my saturn collection almost solely from best buy. before they shipped the games out, they were selling every single game (regardless of how new it was), for 5-10, accessories 10-15. I got a steering wheel and pedals for saturn for only 10 (even though it was brand new and should have sold for like 75. And fighter's megamix for 10 sealed about 3 or 4 weeks after it came out was awesome.

do not pass up deals like that, because if they are shipping them out, that means they want to get rid of them, which means the prices will be insane.

it really sux that you missed that dude, but i am sure that there is a fellow dp'er that will be smart enough to go to their gamestop and buy up as many super cheap games as possible (besides crappy games, of course)

This is a pretty sad day. Ebay is becoming a larger result EVER day. I am sick of paying Ebay prices, but its starting to become the only resort.

I can't believe it's a big deal to most people. Either I'm way too cheap or these places are insane. You can get almost every game at EB or GS for 50% of their price online. I paid $18 for TMNT tournament fighters and Fatal Fury 2 for genesis. FF2 had the instructions......that's it. As for rarer items, I never see a single one when I walk into either store. However, I couldn't believe my eyes when Gamestop was selling the newest zelda promo disc used for $19.99...

Yeah but I was just told Gamestop was having an even better dreamcast sell then before. It was 30% off regular prices plus if you buy 2 dreamcast games you get another one free. I was planning on buying Marvel vs capcom 2, Capcom vs snk, and street fighter 3 double impact and a DC system for $47. This was going to be one of the times I go into Gamestop and felt like I was taking advantage of them.

Yep, guess I'm too cheap. I would definitly not feel as if I got that stuff for that price. I'm not even sure I wouldn't feel ripped off. A dreamcast shouldn't cost you more than $10. As well, the only game that seems to be worth anything from that list is SF3: DI. I can't stand any of gamestops prices......

I am planning to hit 4 or 5 GameStop locations tomorrow, hopefully they didn't ship out yet :(


I wanted to do this Monday but got sick (sick today, also). I did manage (being sick) to sneak out to ONE, and got a VERY CLEAN NES system for $40. I don't know about the connectors, but I have to fidget to get some games to work after a few tries. But it does work. :)
