I'm almost positive that it does. But I'm not sure if it needs a mod chip or not.

What I'm curious about, is if there is a emulator that will play Neo Geo CD's on the PC?

CDR's aren't the real thing either.

Be warned, CDR's make lasers and transports work harder, and the NGCD is not the most reliable of units....

hmm, I wonder if the discussion is illegal, but if so, Joe, delete this.

For all games published after World Heroes Perfect (1995), the games are encripted, meaning if you copy them, the games will crash at certain point of playing (I've verified this with cost of many coasters). There're places that can crack these and I won't say who offer them, just do some search.

Also, there's a difference between single speed and CDZ.

If you have single speed (either top or front loading), best type of CDR is the gold CD (Acer, Kodak), provided the game is copies properly, it seems to run smoothly on single speed CD. Some some reasons, the blue bottom CD (Verbatim) (polymethalmethacralate) doesn't run very well on single speed.

If you have CDZ, it'll only play the games if you use blue bottom CDs like Verbatim, using gold CDRs (even worse green) will only roughen your laser on CDZ and you'll just have more coasters - none of the gmaes with gold CDR runs perfectly on CDZ, at some point the games will crash.

Keep that in mind, with NGCD games selling for so cheap at Neostore.com, why bother burning them? Considering the hassles involved.

Better not say who. SELLING CDR copies (at any price) is real, bonafide, prosecutable piracy. Fsck you in the ass federal prison piracy... LOL

how the hell is a cdr the real thing.

anyways emulation is far better than most cd games.

so if you're gonna steal it, might as well go with the romz.

NeoGeo CD games are actually fairly cheap. MUCH cheaper than the NeoGeo cartridge games, that's for sure.
