3rd Party Genesis games

Ok....here's a question. What are your favorite 3rd party developers and publishers for the Genesis. There are a LOT to choose from and a lot of great games! Some of my favorites include:

Renovation: tons of great Wolfteam ports! Lots of games that would have been ignored by the larger companies.

Treasure: Well....duh :D

Technosoft: Amazing Thunderforce shmups! Yay!

Treco: All sorts of interesting things.... Warsong for example :D

Electronic Arts - Long before they turned into a bloated corporation these guys pumped out some creative & fun games.

Road Rash series & Strike series games are my standout favorites.

I've always loved the Konami games. Rocket Knight Adventures, TMNT, etc. From the people who brought you the same code in nearly every game!

Akklaim is another one of my faves. Even if I have an embarrassingly hard time beating their games. :embarrassed:

Renovation indeed! Many of my non-Sega favorites are Renovation titles and not much else comes close in terms of quantity of quality

My personal favorite is Konami with Rocket Knight Adventures.

My picks: Renovation, Namco, Treasure, Konami and Seismic. Yes, Seismic

Namco is definately a favorite of mine. They made Splatterhouse 2 & 3, Rolling Thunder 2 & 3, Burning Force, Phelios, Marvel Land, Dangerous Seed, and Pacman 2. The last of which is also available on the Snes, but still worth mentioning.

Although Konami made some nice titles, like Castlevania Bloodlines and Rocket Knight Adventures, they seemed to snub the Genesis. They didn't release much on it.

True... but at least they released very few garbage titles. Every Konami Genny game I've played has been extremely good.
