Just got my issue today. Anyone else catch it yet? Far from their best (Sheng Long, Belmont in Turtles) but far from their worst (Mispelling "Streeets" on the cover). Really nice photshop job this time!

Yeah, pretty funny how they photoshopped the pic for the remake of Donkey Kong for the GB. I should have never believed they'd keep resurrecting old GB games for the GBA. Funny stuff.

No matter what mag, absolutely NOTHING* beats a few years back when they had a link to a website where you could purchase a "Sega Neptune" SYSTEM (Genesis/32X combo, even had a picture) with "Virtua Hamster" for like, $200 bucks. After you began the order process online, then it was revealed to you that it was all an April Fool's prank. I laughed about it, but inside I was crying.

I'm crying still.

i got this magazine the other day as the 1st issue of my free 1 year subscription and i read through it and didn't find the joke. i wasn't expecting one though, and i only skimmed through certain sections so i could have easily missed it.

Yikes! I didn't stop to look at what month I was reading (I'm a little behind on my magazine reading), so I didn't realize that it was an April Fools bit! But I'm SO happy now to know that. I was incredulous reading the piece... "Who would DO such a thing?". Oh thank goodness...

You know, just recently a friend of mine SWORE up and down that this was real and the Neptune did in fact exist and so did Virtua Hamster. He proceeded to tell me I was an "ignorant fucking dumbass" when I told him it wasn't real. :o

Anyways, when is seen this joke I had to study it for a while....because I could see something as stupid as that getting released actually. This is EA were talking about here. Then I noticed the 04-01-04 time on it and was overwhelmed with relief.

Goes to show the industry is shitting on itself when you cant tell if something as stupid as "LOTR Kart Racer" is real or not.

Is it Lord of the Rings Kart Racing? I thought that was a stupid idea and turned the page. I still don't know if that's it or if it is something else.
