I have mucho feedback and can prove it. I mostly deal with High $ NEO-GEO games.

At this point I would like to see how many people would meet the $300 mark?

THanks,

This game used to be pretty common sealed, haven't seen a sealed one in a long time ago, I'd say it's worth about 125-150 max, just my thoughts..

Edited because I feel I'm being too rude, just......WOW.

That's kinda a crappy shrinkwrap job, even for tengen. Id like to see a close-up of that dent. If there's any color loss there, appears to be some on the box top edges also (could be glare :o ??), then its a definate re-seal. I wouldn't spend $300 on it.

Trust me, it will never hit the $300 mark. Maybe $100-125.

I agree with "Wow just Wow "

A re-seal if I've ever seen one.

Yeah, I don't think it's ever hit $300, even in the days of sealed NES insanity.

Odd how how the hangtag is not square with the box, considering they're machine applied...

IF I had to make an educated guess, I would say that game has been resealed. The plastic doesnt look tight enough. The hang tag is not centered and its crooked. Also there doesnt seem to be any rips near where the box is smooshed. Usually if the box is like there will be a rip in the plastic.
Just my 2 cents..........

THe game is factory sealed. THe box shows no sign of whitening at all. Anything that looks like whitening is a glare. If the box was resealed there would at least be a stain or whiting blemish under the plastic, there would be a spec of something on it, but there's not a single trace of anything. NEW.

I don't know Port. You better hope that guy who has been biding stuff up on the bay (Panesians,Bike Rally games) doesn't get wind of this.

BTW, I will offer you 30 dollars for it.

I know who NeoRYU is from Neo Geo...never dealt with him but seems like a nice guy. Looking at the pics, I'd say it COULD be a Tengen factory seal if the plastic is loose on it in spots, which would account for the off center hang tag. Either way, it's doubtful it's worth $300, but if it's factory plastic (and I'm not an expert on this so I won't say either way) then it's probably worth $100-150 with the current demand for sealed games.

edit: And on legit factory seals, I've seen loose plastic before....the system isn't flawless you know :)

Your best bet for a positive seal ID is Kazz Vader. I just sent Danny a sealed Pacman unlicensed Tengen, and it is 100% authentic... not to mention he's a trusted opinion too. What's the prognosis?

For the record I have seen a ton of hangtags that are not perfectly placed on the packaging. I don't know if some of them are hand applied or what, but it definitely isn't a perfect art.

I was a little leary of this at first, but then I looked at picture 4 on the slideshow (shows the top view of the game). The hanging tag (style and color) matches my pac man and the top seal looks pretty much the same as mine. The looseness of the plastic looks like it has more to do with the damage to the box in the upper right and lower left corners. (looking at it from a frontal view). The way the hanging tag is applied doesn't concern me as much as if it was a totally different type or style of hanging tag.

How many tengen factory seals have you seen though?? Remember this is a third party title NOT produced by nintendo or endorsed by the big N.

I believe it is legitimate factory seal and not a reseal. That's my opinion.

Well if you say so, but I've also seen a lot of re-seals and this looks just like them.

Ok guys, let me clear some of this up. Yes, compared to most factory sealed games....it looks very ganked. However, i'm about 90% sure that's a factory seal. However, that game is very abused. I sold a couple factory sealed tengens that had slightly crooked hangtags. Also, Epay's sealed prices are in the gutters very much....a sealed copy of zelda(either) doesn't even top out very high anymore. Just my opinion.

EDIT: I've seen two tengen seals, just for the record. Ones like this and then you have the overlapped across the back versions(vertical) and I'm pretty sure that this one is authentic.

Mine have the overlap on the back....I think that is with the later games.

Sine Tengen tetris I believe was one of the first released it may not have the overlap.

I'm sure its real

I bought 2 sealed Tengen games from TheRedEye last CGE . Shinobi has the overlap on back and the shrinkwrap is loose. RBI Baseball does not have the overlap, and the shrinkwrap is not loose. Looks like this Tetris is legit.
