Hi all. I had to create this for my graphic design class, and since it has to do with veideo games and it came out looking pretty cool (i think), I figured I'd let you all see it. I'd love to hear your comments on it too :) and in case your wondering, that is not an actual zelda collection disk, it's just an animal crossing code disk my girlfriend had.
Okay everyone, I got the pics working (I hope:) ), it may take a while to load on slower connections, but it shouldn't be too bad, enjoy.
Oh, and I made the box out of corrogated cardboard and chipboard

I think that you might want to change those BBCode image inserts into links of the images. They might actually work that way.
Edit: Good to see that they're all working now.

Looks pretty awesome actually. Maybe you can sell it to Nintendo and they will actually make it....ahhahahha. I doubt they would, but if they did I would have to buy that right quick. Really good job. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

Great job!!! Very impressive. That's the way it should've been made.
If your teacher doesn't give you a half-decent mark for this, he/she has no taste (and no videogame knowledge).
Seriously, it is the kind of quality you could submit professionally. It's THAT good.

I would see what Nintendo has to say. They might actually be intrested, and yes you should get a very good grade.

Excellent job. It looked like a packaging nightmare in the first two pics but then I see how it all "comes together". Very nice work.

It would not surprise me to see that on eBay in a month listed as a "rare Nintendo Zelda prototype." And the thing is, it looks good enough that I'd believe it! Good job!

That is extremely cool. I have a feeling they might not sell it, though - didn't the whole game industry agree on a set of "rules" for smaller box sizes a while back?

Hey everyone, thanks for all the positive feedback! As far as selling them goes, I'm not sure if I'm ready to do that yet, maybe after I play with the desing a little and prefect it I will, but I'm not sure. But I'll say this, in May when I get out of school I will try making some more and if it looks like I can make them good each time, I'll trade them for cool inexspensive game related stuff. (if i do decide to sell them in the future I'll let them got for like $10 bucks).
Also, even though I was cursing up a storm while building this thing, I'm very happy with the end result and would like to build other stuff like this, can anyone else think of something else that's the same idea I could build?

What an awesome concept!
If Nintendo ever made something like this, I would be all over it in a second.
