PlayStation Long Box to Jewel Case Variant questions

This has been driving me nuts lately:

Do the following PSX games have Jewel case versions as well as their Long box:
- Morrtal Kombat 3
- Psychic Detective
- Silverload

I am particularly interested in the MK3 one...I *swear* I saw a JC version of it years ago, but haven't seen it since. Was I blind?

I'm not sure about the others, but I am almost 100% positive that there was only a long box MK3.

It's missing the manual, but if you look closely you can see the red skull from the cover's 'forehead' peeking outside the top right area of the insert.

Damn it, I will track this down complete!

I dunno...it looks more like a glare to me. If it's really an insert why is there color just in that one corner?

E-mail the seller and see if he can get a pic of the back of the insert, THEN that'll be proof for sure. :)

I emailed him, except I can prove what it will look like before hand, because I have seen it :) I finally remembered what it looked like. Here' smy rendering (really bad):

The reason it's so barren is because they only have the skull, flipped horizontally facing left. The two tones you see are from th ereflection off the dome That's it: no MK logo, no nothing. The rest is all black sans the PSX 'thread bar' on the left (you guys do see that on the original pic, right? Proves it right there :) )

See above; that's like asking why is the Nuclear Strike GH insert plain white, and several PSX releases (Alladdin, Super Shot Soccer, etc...) missing the thread bar? Artisitc choice. :D

On a weird side note, after scanning the MK3 cover, I tossed it into my PSone and played for a while...when I used to play this thing on my PSX/PS2, it would only ever give me the "There is no knowledge..." opening phrase, and that's it. Suddenly, on the PSone, it gives me all of the opening phrases ("The Meek..." etc) randomly, just like the arcade. O_O

All kidding/joking aside, if I never posted this anywhere else, Queen, you and Kevincure are doing an *INCREDIBLE* job on the various PSX Lists. I love you guys. :D

I'll knock one of those 43 off your list for free - Baby Felix Tennis is a Euro only release, and I've heard nothing about it coming to the US. So, not counting box sets or titles yet to be released, you only need 22. Crazy.

Did you pick up the other recent XS releases (dodgeball, airboat, soccer, moto 2)?

Well the Disney DDR game that i have is DDR: Disney Mix, it has an orange cover, and theyre all apparently rockin out to music, not necessarily dancing per'se but yah...

Three times I had to sell a huge chunk of my collection to help pay off bills. So, if I didn't have to do that, I would have had around 500 or so. But now I'd say it's around 200-250, but slowly climbing up again.

In other words, was there a Saturn Case game ever reprinted in the cardboard/plastic cases?

Good cause the store is being a little mean right now, Usually I am able to go into the PSOne/DC Store Demo box (older used games that were part of the store collection) and raid what i want. I know that a DDR Disney is in there. Last few times ive tried to look in the box (Friday and Sunday) have been denied... SO its in limbo.. Give me a little time, I'll see if going to the other manager will help. I'll PM you when I get it.
