Imagine there is a fire burning your genesis collection. What is the one game you are going to save and why?

I'd save my copy of MUSHA. Pain in the ass to find, and oh so good.

Dynamite Headdy as I love that game oh so much.

O_O

I'd really like to know how a fire will engulf just 2 of my 15 part shelves.

ANyways, Genghis Khan 2 because it's the rarest I own.

Q- How did the fire start? Also what good is any one game if your console is melting? And finally Why would I only save ONE game, when I could clearly carry many more? ok i'd have to echo Genghis Khan2 as it's probably the most valuable I got.

Assuming the NES collection is safe from harm? The Blockbuster Champ II Cart and Outback Joey.

just let it burn.. burn it all.. I never liked most sega games.. then agian I was never a collector.. only ones I liked were the Sonic, sonic2, sonic3 , and sonic and knuckles.. and those can be found on the GCN now.. so let it burn. (hope I didn't offend anyone)

I have nothing rare for it, or at least I don't know that anything I have is rare for it, so I would prolly just grab my system because I have a model 1 gen with a 32x and model 2 cd.

i hav around 270 games so far for genesis...but the 4 games iŽd save first are: Gunstar heroes, Crusader of Centy, Dune and Musha

shit.

If it's burning my Genesis collection, it's also burning my sealed FDS games and other st00f...so...

out of the "Genesis" (Mega Drive) games:

Mint Contra Hard Corps
Phantasy Star Rerelease Edition
and the rest. Those would likely be my top two, though. o_O

Only one game? Wow thats harsh! I would probally save Warsong or Starflight. There is lots more I could add as well.

8-)

Sorry, but my Genesis collection wouldn't go up in flames.

*brings out a fire extinguisher and uses it*

See? Problem solved.

Alien Soldier, it's the most valuable megadrive/genesis game I own. It's not that good, but I could sell it and buy back games I do like :).

For collectability...it would be my boxed copy of Shining Force. For fun it would be Formula One, that game from Domark.

If I had the choice, I wouldn't grab a game at all. I'd grab my sealed Gen2 NFL 94 Gift Set.

Being as my Genesis collection is spread out over 3 completely separate shelves....that's WEIRD. Stupid fire. Anyway, I'd grab Alien Soldier, PAL Wily Wars, and Gleylancer, and if I could, Warsong. Unless my insurance would cover it, then I'd just buy new ones :D

Insurance is a beuatiful thing ;)

I'd save whatever is on the top of the pile.
Theres a good chance it would be a good game because all the crap sinks to the bottom :D

In all seriousness I'd let the flames greedily devour the Genesis collection as I carefully usher my NES collection out of the burning house. After that I'd go back for the dog and wife. It's all about the priorities.

Boogerman. This is probably my favorite game for trhis system, and my mom used tohate it. So my dad would rent it for me and my sister, behind my moms back.

I like the order of your priorities...it's nice to see that you know what's important.

If I was going by rarity, it would be my mint Time Killers that turned up this morning, and price-wise (at least by ridiculous recent eBay rates) prob. Streets of Rage 3, but the one I'd actually save (to play) would have to be Gunstar Heroes.

Just thought of something else. The flames engulfing me Genesis games and I mentioned I'd save Genghis Khan 2...but that game is behind a few other games because I have my Genesis games doubled up on the shelfs I use. So how could I save just that one if I have to move at least 10 to get to it?

Plus I have a shelf that has Genesis games in front of my Master System games, would the flame just engulf the front part of the shelf and leave the MS games unscuffed behind them?

This is a really odd scenario. :eek 2:

I'd save four games: Gunstar Heroes, Aerobiz, Skitchin' and PGA Tour Golf III

Everything else I like I can re-buy 10 for $1 :D

Ranger-X
02-28-2004, 09:28 PM
If I had to save one game, it would be Ranger-X. Close in line would be Gunstar Heroes, Sagaia (a.k.a. Darius II) and Sonic 3.

If I was thinking straight I'd probably save my sega cd games first since they'd be more expensive to replace. With any available extra armspace or hoodie pocket, I'd grab Earthworm Jim or The Tick, so I could keep some humor in an otherwise lousy situation.

One thing I've never liked about college is that all of my stuff is pretty much in one room, so God forbid that ever went up in flames I'd be completely wiped out. Yuck...don't even want to think about it! :o
