Not a big day, but ahh well.
At the videogame store I always go to,
SMS 3d glasses (small scratch on one side), loose Zaxxon 3d, loose Missle Defence 3d, and boxed no instructions Fantasy Zone: The maze plus phaser gun.
$35 total.
Now, at Goodwill comes the frustration.
I found the Box and overlay for Pole Position for the Vectrex. No instructions, no inside thingie to hold the cart and NO FRIGGING CART!!!!!
However, this set me back $1.00 and I put a copy of SNES NBA Jam inside so I did get A cart just not the one I was supposed to. *sigh*
Not like I have a Vectrex anyway, but man that's frustrating!

Well, thanks to Captain Wrong, I've got my first NES system in over a decade, so I decided to go to the thrift store just down the street. I know they are loaded with NES and SNES stuff but I stopped going awhile ago because all the Atari stuff dried out.
They had about 30 good condition NES games about a third of them boxed and priced just $1 and $2 dollars :D I picked up a boxed SMB3, boxed California Games, Tetris, Ikari Warriors, and Ninja Gaiden for $9. Nothing too exciting but definetely games I needed to get my NES collection going. They also had 30 or 40 carts for the Genny and SNES but I didn't look too close because I don't own those, yet.

well, sense I couldn't find anyone at DP that wanted to trade a FF III for a chrono Trigger (I still have one more for trade) Someone traded one in for 10 bucks at Software Etc. Luckly I know those guys pretty well so I went up and just "returned" the worst Chrono Trigger I had as "defective" and picked up the FF III.. Those guys down at Software Etc. rock. 8) so..
Final Fantasy III for 3.99
there is a big flee market tomorrow in Tyler, TX but it's raining really hard and I already spent $500 this month on games/systems.
..I'll probably go..

@oesiii, glad the NES is working out for you :) I'll think of you every time my damn "toaster" starts blinking.
I got something else very cool today, but not game related. A buddy gave me a huge box of old soul/r&b/funk 45s from the 50s through the 70s! And there's some LPs at the bottom of the box I haven't even seen yet!!! I'd guess there's at least 150 records in this box and this is my other major collecting bug, so I'm in hog heaven right now!!!

Today at a flea market I bought an Emerson Arcadia 2001 complete in the box (except RF switch) and 8 boxed common games. I have really been wanting the box for this system and games I didn't have and now I got some. I used my incredible bargaining skills to get the seller down from $75 to $40 because it was missing the RF switch. I now have a loose Arcadia 2001 w/screw in joysticks, aftermarket power supply and about 7 common games for sale or trade. If interested email me @ kgtdub@earthlink.net.
