Lucky me! two nutcases in one week!
BUYER EMAIL: "I work for Ebay. $9 for 3 games is too much. Give me free ship or I will close your account."
Um. Yeah. Sure.
I reduced ship to $5, he insisted I should give free shipping o he'll close my account, I stated non-paying bidder alert (3 of them!) if he did not pay for shipping, and he reluctantly paid.
I think this one deserves a negative.

If you originally advertised shipping to be $9 I wouldn't have even lowered it to $5. I would have told him that if he works at ebay surely he would know the rules and that his bid is a contract.

I agree here. You let the nutcase scam out out of 4.00. But yeah, I'd probably leave a neg or a neutral here. People need to be warned about these things..make sure he leaved you positive first though otherwise you can count on retaliation feedback.

Say ok. Then be like you need to give me a positive feedback though. Then after that hit him with a negative HARD!

Why did you let him save 4 bucks? Deffinately give him 3 negatives after he leaves you positives. That would be really dumb if you gave him positives. You gotta teach him a lesson.

did he email you before hand asking if he can bid on your auction?
I've had ebay employees bid on my game auctions and everytime they email me 3 or 4 days ahead of time letting me know they want to bid on my item and making sure it is ok.
Then I have to click on a link and add the item number to the form they have.
....guy doesn't work for ebay, wait for his positives and hit him with a neg

Well, while the guy seems to be an idiot what has he really done to deserve a negative? He asked for a lower shipping rate and although he may have lied about who he was you agreed to lower it for him. The way I look at it is that the bidder bid on an item and paid for it. I believe he deserves a positive, at the very least a neutral. Now if you didn't agree to lower the shipping rate and he didn't pay then he would have deserved a negative.

Hey all!!
I'd report his, stinkin Wisker Biskit!! Ass!! to Ebay, for pretending to work for ebay and threatening your ebay account!, and I'd make him eat that $4.... Not in notes, but in coins!! quarters sound nice for lunch, annnd desert @_@
All these ebayers, that act and talk the way they do, gets me alittle aggitated at times. Especially, since if you where stood in front of him, he wouldn't try that "i work for ebay crap"... O_O
Now get to a store or Bank, an change that $4 (into coins) and go whip that mans Assssssssss!!! LOL
PS. like someone mentioned if he worked for ebay he would know the rules, and auctions are a contract, on the sellers terms! he entered into that contract then decided he didn't want your shipping rate...

Question from: unknown417
I had just mailed the game that morning.
I forwarded the e-mail to Ebay and then got the guys contact info and called him.
Of course it was some young kid and he was like "My friend bought it with my account and must have sent the e-mail "
No apology or nothing. I told him that I contacted E-bay and if his friend sent another e-mail I would contact the authorities .
No more e-mails . Yet ......
Man I hate E-Bay sometimes.... :o

Thats my point, he sends an e-mail, calling you all the names under the sun, but when you speak to him on the fone, he clam's up..
Thats what happen's when you cross noobies with young kids, you get A-HOLES!! i'm sure they'll grow out of it, non the less (i hope.. X_x )
Can you imagine if he was a seller!! ooooohhhh he'd be even worse LOL

did he email you before hand asking if he can bid on your auction?
No. If he had I woulda told him "I'm not giving you free shipping. Please don't bid."
I agreed to lower shipping from $9 to $5 to save the sale. It's too much hassle to get a final value credit and re-listing. Plus wasting 60 cents on a second listing. I decided to sae the sale.

he bid and won...scammed you, you agreed and he paid...you should just leave him positives and report him to eBay for lying to you. tell them you felt forced to lower the shipping for him, maybe they will not make you pay the listing fees or something, its worth a try.

I complained to ebay once before (check bounced), and know what happened?
Nothing.
I'll leave the hegatives. Yeah sure he paid, but he was deceitful in the transaction and that will be in his feedback: "Warning: Buyer claims to be ebay employee & threatens to close your account to get free shipping rates."
He has a 500+ rating... 3 negs won't cause much damage but will set the record straight.
